This article was interstiting to me here are some of the quotes that caught my attention....

This is very scary especially since the place that they are talkin about is just hours away from where we live.

I like this quote because this boy and his family are struggling to get by an he still is willing to give to someone less fortuante than him. There are people in the world who have everything they need and way more and they will not help out those in need at all.
"Their indirectness was an attempt to lessen the power"
This is very interesting and I think that it means that by being indirect with a person they will feel less powerfull and feel down on themselves as if they are not as superior as the other person. The person is "silencing their dialogue" by making them feel this way.
